The Poptropica Creators confirmed what we reported last week: a new pirate-themed island is coming and it will be called Skullduggery Island. The official Poptropica blog has a very cool-looking wallpaper that you can download. They also created a promotional page for the new island that you can see here.
Not many details are given, but the promotional page says:
Set sail for adventure! Outwit cunning pirates and battle fierce sea monsters in the biggest Poptropica quest yet. Build your ship. Assemble your crew. Rule the sea!
OK, there’s no specific release date given but we do learn some very important things.
- It will be coming out sometime in May in Early Access. Probably June for everyone else.
- This quest will be huge. If it’s the biggest one yet, expect it to be longer and more complicated than Astro-Knights Island
- Once again, you’ll need to be a paid member for early access.

It doesn’t sound so fun, as the title: Skullduggery island. It seems as if, lots of people have had a death there, yes MANY. I don’t like the sound of this, Mythology island either, it is about greek gods that aren’t supposed to be on a foolish game! This game called”Poptropica” Is not a proper game to play online. But I think this “Poptropica” game shouldn’t be played at all, because you could be playing with friends, doing another computer game, or MANY more important things to do. Get some exercise! Don’t be lazy on the computer! Or read a book that seems interesting! Based on Mythology Island you can read Percy Jackson series. Also, based on Skullduggery, you can read 24 clues.

Anyway, I would doubt sailing on a ship is harder then fighting space sharks, trying to not get sucked up by a black hole, fight a robot phoenix, a robot controlled by the most evil Modred, freeze your butt off and get bitten my robot fishes, burn your butt off with molten lava, get through a cage, get the codes, solve a puzzle, and trying to not get destoryed by asteroids and aliens!!!! So who would think getting a crew and sailing a ship is harder then all of that? What’s the difference of saving a universe and saving a city/town (probably)? Let tell you something “Critic of the Web.” If your so mad at people for playing this game and exercising or reading a book, then how come you were just sitting here and typing on the computer? Now then, how can Skull Duggery be harder than Astro Knights Island? I still have never beaten Astro Knights Island. It’s the hardest Island in the universe.(literally) I got as far a shte fire breathing dragon but I got stuck there. If Skull Duggery Island is harder than that then I think I’ll die.
