Jet Pack

The Jet Pack is an item found in Early Poptropica. Using it allows you to fly while in Early Poptropica, but the jet pack does not work in any of the other islands. You’ll need it to get the third item that was stolen from the Early Poptropica villagers, the Signal Flag. The flag is located up on top of the water tower on Main Street in Early Poptropica, and with the jet pack equipped, you’ll be able to fly up there and retrieve it.

How to Get the Jet Pack

The jet pack is hidden up in the clouds, past the giant and to the right of the water bucket. To get there, you’ll need to have the Golden Egg, which you give to the giant so that he’ll let you past. From there, head to the right through the giant’s vegetable garden. Along the way you’ll find the water bucket. Continue heading right to the next zone, known as the Aircraft Graveyard and jump up over the abandoned airplanes and rocket, using the wind created by the propellors to leap over them. The jet pack is in the bottom-right corner of the screen, just past the rocket ship.

Other Uses for the Jet Pack

The main use for the jet pack is to get the signal flag on top of the water tower. But you can also use the jet pack anywhere in Early Poptropica. This includes the special advertisement quests that appear on Main Street from time to time. Often, it’s easier to complete the advertisement quests when you can fly over the obstacles inside. Many players choose to visit these advertisement quests from within Early Poptropica so that they can use the jet pack.
