Medusa is a gorgon who is well-known for being a snake-headed or the woman with snake hair. She got featured here at Mythology Island. She stays on the path of the Mount Olympus. Medusa is not just popular on Mythology Island, back on June 2009, before the island has been released by Poptropica creators they already released bunch of items on the Poptropica store and one of those was Medusa hair. You need to have two hundred credits to gain a Gold Medusa head card. All of those who want to have a bad hair day or simply a dreadful snake hair can use this card.

How to beat Medusa?

You really do not have to beat Medusa on this island. Your main task when you get on the Mount Olympus is to get on top to fight Zeus. When you and Hercules arrive on Mount Olympus, you both saw a little green snake. Hercules says that it just a little pesky snake and he will take care of it. He touched it and then Medusa appeared and she tells to Hercules that “You picked the wrong snake to mess with buddy”. Her face turn to red and her snake head flies up in the air, turning Hercules into stone. Medusa vanished and then you approach Hercules and then he tells you not to worry because he got what he always wanted, a statue on Mount Olympus. At least he was able to strike a pose and his good looks will be preserved for eternity. And then you need to buy a bag of wind from Aeolus at the base of the mountain to fly and reach a platform and then climb further to reach Zeus throne.
