Poptropica Super Power Island Walkthrough
Getting Started
Welcome to Super Power Island, where six dangerous super villains have escaped from prison and you must help capture them!
Comic Shop
1. Go to the Comic Shop on Main Street 2. Talk to the nerdy guy wearing glasses (Ned Noodlehead) 3. Receive "The Superhero's Handbook" - this gives you information about each villain
Masks and Capes Shop
1. Enter the Masks and Capes shop next door 2. Talk to the shop owner 3. Get your Super Hero ID card 4. Choose your superhero costume - pick any costume you like!
The Prison
1. Go to the Prison - take the water to the left 2. Talk to the prison warden outside 3. Receive "Super Villain Files" - detailed information on the escaped villains 4. Talk to the scientist (woman in lab coat) 5. Get anti-power handcuffs - essential for capturing villains
Capturing the Villains
You must capture six villains in order. Each has unique powers and requires different strategies.
1. Copy Cat
Location: Bank on Main Street
Strategy: 1. Enter the bank and go to the top floor 2. Copy Cat will create multiple copies of herself 3. Capture all the copies by clicking on them 4. Smoke will fill the room - work quickly! 5. Use the elevator to reach different floors 6. Keep capturing copies until you get them all 7. The real Copy Cat will be captured automatically
Tip: Move systematically through each floor to avoid missing copies.
2. Speeding Spike
Location: Subway Station
Strategy: 1. Enter the Subway (down the stairs on Main Street) 2. Board the train when it arrives 3. Speeding Spike will attack by throwing money bags 4. Jump over him when he charges at you 5. Keep jumping over him - he'll get progressively tired 6. After about 4-5 jumps, he'll sit down exhausted 7. Walk up and cuff him while he's resting
Tip: Time your jumps carefully - he speeds up each time!
3. Sir Rebral
Location: City Park
Strategy: 1. Go to City Park (to the left) 2. Sir Rebral floats in the air using telekinesis 3. He'll throw rocks at you with his mind 4. Dodge the rocks by moving around 5. Push the gray rock on the ground 6. Position yourself so flying rocks hit him instead 7. When a rock hits him, he'll be stunned 8. Quickly run up and cuff him while he's dazed
Tip: The gray rock on the ground is key - use it as a shield!
4. Ratman
Location: Sewers (entrance in City Park bathroom)
Strategy: 1. Enter the public restroom in City Park 2. Click on the hole to enter the sewers 3. Navigate the sewers using the water wheels: - Turn wheels to swim through pipes - Find your way to Ratman's location 4. Use the red wheel to spray water on Ratman 5. Avoid the flies he sends after you 6. Quickly cuff him while he's stunned from the water
Tip: The red wheel is crucial - it's the only way to defeat him!
5. Crusher
Location: Junkyard
Strategy: 1. Go to the Junkyard (all the way to the right) 2. Sneak past Crusher when his back is turned 3. Reach the crane controls at the back 4. Climb up to the crane cab 5. Use the crane magnet to pick up Crusher 6. He'll throw oil barrels at you - dodge them! 7. Drop him when the magnet's power runs out 8. Cuff him while he's stunned on the ground
Tip: Be patient - wait for Crusher to look away before moving!
6. Betty Jetty (Final Boss)
Location: Downtown Skyscraper
Strategy: 1. Answer the ringing telephone near the phone booth 2. You'll receive the power of flight! 3. Fly up to the skyscraper rooftop 4. Betty Jetty will attack with green energy balls 5. Chase her through the sky while dodging attacks 6. Get close enough to capture her (about 4-5 times) 7. Eventually, Ned Noodlehead appears and helps 8. He'll knock her down with his hot dog cart 9. Cuff Betty Jetty when she falls
Flying controls: Click and hold mouse to fly up, release to descend
Getting Your Reward
After capturing all six villains:
1. Return to the prison 2. Talk to the prison warden 3. She'll give you a hot dog as thanks 4. Go back to Main Street 5. Find Ned Noodlehead with his hot dog cart 6. Trade your hot dog for the Island Medallion!
Special Secret
Old Superhero Easter Egg
1. Climb the Daily Paper building (use the windowsills) 2. Find the old retired superhero on the roof 3. He'll share wisdom: "Remember, with great power comes great responsibility" 4. This is a reference to Spider-Man!
Tips for Success
- Save your game after catching each villain
- Be patient - some villains require multiple attempts
- Watch patterns - each villain has predictable attack patterns
- Use the environment - objects in each area help defeat villains
- Anti-power handcuffs must be used on each villain when stunned

Completing Super Power Island earns you:
