EDIT: Wow, thank you for so many awesome write-ups of plots for Movie Island! It’s going to take me a bit to put them together into a poll, so a brief delay while I get them all sorted out. Can’t wait to see which one is everyone’s favorite!
When last we left our Design Our Own Island project, the numbers had been counted and it had been decided that the villain for Movie Island would be a jealous actor or actress! Which, of course, is a great starting point for us to figure out the rest of the details of our own custom-made island. Now that we know the theme (movies) and the villain (a jealous actor or actress), there are four things left to decide:
- What is the role of the player on Movie Island? In other words, once you jump out of your blimp, what do you have to do?
- Who is helping you? Are there characters who are assisting you along the way?
- Why is the jealous actor or actress trying to stop you?
- What are the different areas of Movie Island that you have to travel through and what are some of the obstacles along the way?
Oh, and a bonus question: what’s the name of the villain? Lucretia McStarlet? Theodore Von Optiks? Skippy the Stunt Dog?

So basically, as soon as you leave the blimp, you walk right or left and get stopped by a talent scout, who will be a helper for the rest of the island, just like the journalist for the New York Times on Mystery Train Island. He says that you look like you would make a good actor/actress and takes you to the movie lot. You then meet the director, who decides that you would make a better actor or actress than the person who is currently going to play the role (that is the villain, and their reason to try and stop you). You visit the stunt area, the costume room, the script writer’s room, your trailer (which is basically where you meet with the talent scout every now and again), the set (which changes throughout the island, since you’re filming a movie, and a movie doesn’t take place in one room alone), and other various rooms. The jealous actor/actress then sabotages things (e.g. scrambles all the scripts up, hides the costumes, hire the REAL versions of the villains in the movie [e.g. ninjas, thugs, etc.]) and finally, takes your trailer to some far off place, leading to a chase scene, like in Cryptids island or Wild West island. The director, incidentally, films the scene in the helicopter, and decides to put it in the movie. Also, the talent scout, who was in your trailer when the jealous actor/actress hijacked it, getting another point of view. Plus, the car you took had a camera in the dashboard, since it was a car for the movie, getting yet another point of view. The actor/actress changes their ways, knowing that they’re now going to be in the movie again. After the red carpet premiere, the director hands you your medallion.

Okay, here is my input.
(1) What is the role of the player on Movie Island? In other words, once you jump out of your blimp, what do you have to do?
>> You have to play in a movie…a Poptropica Movie! And act previous scenes from islands out!
(2) Who is helping you? Are there characters who are assisting you along the way?
>> Yes…important hereos and villians, AND FUNNEH BUNNEH
(3) Why is the jealous actor or actress trying to stop you?
>> They want the lead role, and hope that if you mess up, they will get it.
(4) What are the different areas of Movie Island that you have to travel through and what are some of the obstacles along the way?
>> Scenes from various islands, and the jealous actor(ess) is getting people to make things harder for you.
**Bonus: The villians name is (girl) Katrina Photographia!

Oh, and the villain should be a person named Seymour the Stuntman. Don’t criticize me, it’s hard to make a movie-themed villain with a clever name.

Byesies. I have homework I’ve been putting off for, what, about twenty million-thirty million years?
1. Maybe when you first jump off the blimp, you will run straight to a male actress and a female agent, both arguing about something. The woman would say: Enough, your lunch break is over and you don’t have a co-actor, if the director finds out what you did, you will be in big trouble’ The male turns towards you and thinks you are the actress, and calls you ‘Sierra Star!’ Then you basically have to find out that Sierra was kidnapped and never found but you have to figure out what happened to her while keeping your identity hidden.
2. The characters helping you along the way include the manager of the villain, extras who claim to have heard screaming, and Sierra’s parents (Who are in fact very wealthy).
3. The actor is trying to stop you because with Sierra gone, he would be the star and you could screw up the acting.
4. You have to travel through Main street (which is basically in front of a modern cafe and a back of a studio), hair and makeup (as soon as you enter the studio), filming (After hair and makeup), the beach (Which is where the actor’s house is), the cellar (which is under a bunch of rocks at the beach), and the last room, where the actor basically tries to set the set on fire.
Bonus: The Villains name should be:Pat or Pat Rio (although he calls himself Poptropica’s great actor of PGA!)
Extra: I would enjoy working on costumes?
I’m going to try to work my idea posted in the survey for the villain into this. An actress named Kim Kantact that nobody likes and watches is jealous that people still enjoy old movies more than hers. She uses a machine travel into and mix and mess up the classics of all genres into one to end their popularity. You have to use a machine to go into the run-together movie to sort everything out and individualize them. It would have all the common genres such as comedy, romance, western, science fiction, action, adventure, etc. with the classics of them. For example, for science fiction it would have a mixture of Star Wars and Star Trek melded together with scenes in the Enterprise and Death Star. Kim would go through the areas in all of them and get in your way and you’d have the good guys in the movies helping you and the bad guys against you. After the plots of the movies and sorted and you’re about to push the button to individualize them again, you have to beat Kim to finish it. Once you’re done, you can go through the individual movie areas and talk to the characters and such to go back and meet again with your favorites.
1. The player should have to be a director who has a short-term memory loss problem when they get hit with a light from the last movie on the head. (Not that that should be shown…)
2. Your psychiatrist, Dr. Grayson, should assist you and remind you of what has happened every now and then. There should be short blanks on the island where the player blacks out from his/her memory loss…
3. The jealous ACTRESS wants to stop you because you were the director of the movie she was in and she was supposed to be put in a good role but you accidentally mistook her for someone else and put her in the background, therefore, she gets very mad and jealous of the person who took her spot (and messed her career up) and decides to take it all out on you, the director.
4. There should be a bonus part for the members: Trying to figure out who dropped the light on your head or if it was just an accident. In the real island, the player should be going through many obstacles, all leading up to the Battle of the Stars. The player should get off the blimp, see a doctor come, and then have one of their blackouts. They should then wake up in a random hospital room, with Dr. Grayson in the corner. They should go talk to the doctor and figure out what happened. THe doctor tells what happened and says you have a movie to make. You then start making the movie and directing it when CLARISSA DeLANTIS walks in and abruptly stops the take. She then walks to you and gets into an arguement about some random topic about a movie mix-up. The player gets confused and asks, “Me?” Then Clarissa stomps of saying how much she wants revenge. Your psychiatrist then suggests you should go talk to her and ask her what’s up. The player goes outside and finds a note taped to the door saying: “I’ll get revenge. Just WAIT!” The player takes the note and runs inside to show the doctor and the doctor suggests that you find her. The player has to find Clarissa and stop her from stopping them from making another movie, which is her way to get back at them. The player blacks out just when they walk into where Clarissa is, and they wake up in a chair on a stage in what looks like a theater. A scared-looking guy comes and gives you a script. The player notices Clarissa behind the curtain. Then, the player reads the first line of the script kind of dully and Clarissa comes out saying it with power. This basically goes on and on and it’s the battle of the stars. If you defeat Clarissa, the judges that you never noticed in the audience come forward saying that they never really liked Clarissa, and then give you the medal. TO defeat Clarissa you have to say the correct lines from the script the guy handed you. Clarissa leaves town crying her eyes out and never comes back again. The END…

It’s the 2nd comment.
1. The whole plot is the player visits the island, to tour the island and meet a few of the actors/actresses, but you find a few famous actors have gone missing (the jelous Actor/Actress is responsible) and the police want you to help. You find a set of clues, one of which was a fake ransom set by a teenage prankster. So after you find out the note is a fake, you go into a storage closet because of a tip-off the jelous Actor/Actress starts to suspect you’ll figure out it’s them so they lock you in a massive water tank after you get knocked out (you don’t actually see it’s them though) and you escape and pick up a key card to a secret room – where you find the actors. Then jelous actor/actress walks in and you do a whole mini-game avoiding the movie equitment & props thrown at you and eventually know him/her out. She/he then gets arrested.
Bonus Quest: Just after you get your medallion you find that J.A. (Jelous Actor/Actress) reveals she set off a group of bombs all over the island set to explode in 30 minutes, and you must find and deactivate each of them.
Clues:
Before Capture: Blond hair at one of the actors trailers, water bottle on set of another missing actress’s movie set, Draft of ransom note (fake)
After Capture: Key-card
2. You don’t get much assistance except when you ask around about the dissapearences. Other than that the director tells you the hair belongs to either E.A. Ting or Jessica S. Tar (it turns out to be Jessica S. Tar)
3. Because they know you are trying to solve the case, and want you out of the way
4. First, after you exit the blimp you see a director crying out, after you ask him whats wrong he explain about the dissapearences of three of his best actors. You go into a gift shop, talk to a police officer who is confused by the dissapearences and thinks about giving up. You say you’ll solve the case so he will give you a file on all the actors that were on the island in the last month (with a stamp defining if they’re missing) you then proceed past the prop warehouse next to it (the door is locked, you need a key-card) and the Directors house (he doesn’t want any visitors) to the trailer park where all the actors live. You first visit one of the missing actress’s (Luna Looney) and find a blong hair, which is odd because she is a brunette. Then after leavin you find somebody dropped a draft of a note – it’s a ransom for the missing actors/actress’s! You go forward to one of the sets where you find a water bottle with a finger print. You overhear a conversation between two teen actors saying that they couldn’t believe they dropped that fake ransom note – you confront them about it. One clue failed. So you walk back to main street and you meet one of the Directors who invites you into their home. You start talking about the case and ask him who the blond hair belongs to he says either Jessica S. Tar or E.A. Ting. You leave and when you do you find a prop worker that they heard screams from the Prop Warehouse next door. He takes you there and then you get knocked out by the villian. You come to in a water tank – it’s filling up! But you manage to escape. You grab a key-card left on the ground, and find a door with a key-card lock. You use the key card and go down the secret room to find all the missing actors/actresses. Then Jessica S. Tar comes in, talks about being over-shined and proceeds to start the mini game – you have to avoid getting hit by movie equitement and props while moving closer to her. You evetually knock her out and rescue the actors. You are given the island medallion after she is arrested.
Bonus: You have to find the bombs Jessica set of. One is in the Directors garden, two is on the roof of the warehouse, three is inside her trailer, four is in one of the sets kitchens and the fifth and last is in the water tank you were previouly held prisoner.

So, I’ll be answering only the first 2 because the last too are too difficult.
1. What you have to do is to try save actress Veronica Von Seymors who is being held by Harriet “Stage Stomper” Heartless A.K.A Stage stomper . Harriet used to be an actor but stopped because she got jealous of Veronica. Also, Harriet is also wanted for capturing other rival actors too. The innocent actors get saved but Harriet always escapes.
2. Veronica’s talking dog, Sprite (Veronica doesn’t know that sprite talks. Neither does anyone else) helps you.

when you jump off the blimp you will greeted by the director of the movie and he will tell you that he wants you be in a movie. but the actor who got fired whos name is charles stevens is plotting to get his role back and is going to try and get you fired.
its your job to stop charles and save the movie before he ruins it all.

1. We have to play in a movie and help for it to be a success.
2. A famous French actress helps our caracter with her pet( little dog, panther or snake) that often help us on the adventure and is well the animal is treated very well.
3. They Took of the role of the bad guy cause he was bad at it and found our poptropica caracter.
4. Falling objects, people helping bad guy blocked passages by materials for movie and we get through it by using objects we found or they gave us.
We go to entrance, souvenir shop, lounge of French famous actress, filming rooms, big gold
city( rich because of the good films and actors, artists there) , actresses pets’ room fan club for info cause they know everything from everyone there, different rooms of cinema and guardians room.
1) you are asked to be the director of a film about a previous island
I think the actor/actress should change weather your a boy or girl
1. I think it would be really cool if we were, like, an assistant to the director, or producer. And the director could be one of those guys who just barks orders at people and makes you do everything for him. So that could be how you get to know the rest of the crew – oh, and some of the cast. You know, like “Go tell __________ that we need the set to blah blah blah” and stuff. And it’s by talking to all these people that you find out about the villain being jealous of the new, kind-hearted actor/actress who stole the lead and bumped the villain down to a supporting character. And then strange things start mysteriously happening to the new lead…before she DISAPPEARS!!!!!…Or something like that.
2. Maybe someone like…ooh!!! I know!!! The shy understudy of the villain! They hear things that other people wouldn’t, they’d be a great help! Plus, the villain could be one of those actors/actresses who treats the understudy like some kind of servant, and the understudy could be fed up with the villain treating people that way – herself included. There could even be a dramatic moment near the end where the player/hero helps the understudy break out of their shell in order to stop the villain!
3. Like I mentioned above, maybe a kind-hearted, new, inexperienced (yet talented) actress steals the lead role and bumps the villain down to a supporting/minor role.
4. Hmm…Well, the main set could be one place (you could meet the camera guy (s) there). Maybe the hair and makeup area (you could meet, like, one of those really kind, motherly, stylish ladies who does the hair and makeup. Ooh! Maybe she could have, like, a french assistant or something!). At one point, you could have to sneak into the villains dressing room with the help of the understudy to find evidence. The directors office? The prop room. The place where the add in the special affects. (The guys there could be, like, really bored because they haven’t gotten to any of those scenes yet.)
And for the bonus question…how about something like….Tiffany Shard?
so like Nathan Mews he likes your character but then he finds out you got a better role then him. so he talks the director into giving him the villain role in your movie that your the hero in. he takes the traps a little to far. first he kidnaps the director and film people. so when you go to the set to shoot youre alone with him and he ties you up. then you wake up. in a old time movie and you have to defeat Nathan. When you win, the untie the director and he will give you your medal.

Okay so a famous retired director, ( James Cameron ) ( Titanic,Avatar, ETC) comes out and brings up a catchy tune, ” This is it I’ve had enough ’cause like I’ve been retired for a month, the phone smashes, it crashes, it breaks up, I hate it! Ooohooohoohoo I fired my crazy agent last night but ooohooohoooh this time I am telling them I’m telling them! I am never ever ever being a 80 year old director! I am never ever ever ever being a senior director! Fans can’t talk no they won’t get me back in but I am never ever……”
” Oh no you don’t MISTER!” That’s right, a very crazy fan “Dr.Hare’s forgotten,long lost brother just kidnapped Mr. Cameron! And now everyone counts on you…(This is the fun world of Poptropica , guys!) And you get forced into saving him and there would be a slight chance that you will get a Wonka Chocolate Bar for 4/5 off! (Gee some cheap skakes if you ask me) Anyway the point is…. well let’s just say you try to work with the police and the Chief says ” No need for an old timer who put my great uncle out of place in the top ten directors’ chart! That’s for sure!” After that the Chief’s brother whispers ” Hey I have an old movie airplane prop that really works! Meet me in my backyard at the following address 2312 Block Walters Ave( Made up)
So you keep on going to your right and you find the place. It’s a crummy apartment and you have to go through a trouble-some maze just to get to his back-yard.
Sure enough it was there, complete and no trouble! Well of course there’s always trouble, your so crammed up in the driver’s seat and then you hop right back out for some directions. The directions are from an old movie scene, but the Chief’s brother says it MIGHT help. Afterwards he’ll give you his dinner leftovers and some water bottles ( water will help on later ) and gives you a piece of paper and pen ( for your will) DUN DUN DUN! And after his last words you will spot a paint gun and grab it, luckily it has just enough paint for one shot! Use it wisely!
” When there’s a plane, there’s a storm in Poptropica! Sure enough there’s a tornado and lighting, and a guy in a bathtub “CLASSIC TIMES!”. You have to struggle your way out and LAND HO! You crash….. right into a tree and then ten seconds ’til a bomb blows up, WHAT ARE YOU WAITING FOR? GET OUTTA THERE! But then, alas! A beautiful majestic airplane to your left! And inside is your ticket to Willy Wonka’s Factory! (AGAIN?) along with Mr. Cameron tied up and Dr. Hare’s long, forgotten brother is keeping him hostage with a highly explosive carrot. And it’s weakness, WATER. Suddenly you have to take out the paint out of the paint gun, replace it with water and FIRE! or in this case, WATER! Aim your shot carefully and afterwards it doesn’t matter you make the shot no matter what. YOU DID IT! The bomb turned back into a carrot and Dr.Hare’s brother turned into a bunny rabbit (AWW SO CUTE!) His last words ” ILLLL GEEETTT YOOOOOUUUUUUUU SOOOOOONNNN!)
But he won’t, for now. And you get in Dr.TEET’s plane, go back to Manhattan, funny thing is, it was a movie ALL ALONG AND NOW YOU ARE THE NEW DIRECTOR AND YOU GET A 1/2 chocolate bar this time WOOHOO! (P.S The Chief is CRYING!) AND WHAT ELSE? You were voted Most Tricked DIRECTOR?! Of All Time! WOOHHOO!!!

So five months later, you decided to see the incredibly small little gift shop that Dr. Teet’s true form, A CUTE LIL’ BUNNY! He’s so totally harmless, right? WRONG! Earthquake time? Thump! Thump! Thump! ” Heeheeheeeheee, I have returned like I said i would TEEHEETEET!” You decide that water will work again and throw your last bottle to possibly save the world. Unless it’s a movie, but guess what? Dr. Teet was UNINVITED and had no choice but to taze them and get the part for himself. Water doesn’t work, not at all. But then ANOTHER earthquake Thump! Thump! Thump!
Dr.Hare? I totally thought he was, um you know, OVER? Well, your wrong, again. And he says, “BROTHER!!!! HOW DARE YOU CROSS OVER SIDES, I’M THE BAD GUY, AND YOU MUST *try* TO DEFEAT MEEE!!!” K O time, FINISH HIM!!!!
Then there’s a big dust cloud fight between those two, and then, you must clean up, you better FINISH IT!
part 2
once you get to Hollywood, you walk down the red carpet and are led into the movie set(mainly what you see is a bunch of ppl running around.)the director shows you your trailer, and a harried looking bellboy, gives you your bags. you say,”time to watch that DVD,” but when you look in your bags, you cant find it. you try to tell the bellboy, but he is running too fast for you to talk to him. you see a lady say,”Ive been looking all over for you! time to meet the star.” the lady leads you to a room where you see things flying all over the place. when you walk further down in the room, you see a girl on the floor throwing a tantrum, and the director looking scared. when you click on one of them, the girl says, “

i say that it’s not a jealous actor/actress. say it’s a band of actor/actresses. one for each position. basically, depending on the role you choose you face the villain who once had that role, and whichever one was directly to the right of it in the role selection. wrap around to the first when picking the last for the villain’s partner.

1 you talk to a directer on your left that tells you their is an actress that can never get her lines right and he says that he is going to hold auditions that night to fill in the actresses role then he leaves saying he had to get home dropping one of the audition tickets that has the address of the movie set then a bus comes and you climb on and you get to the movie set once your there you see the producer he too is complaining about the actress he asks you if you want to fill in you say yes and he takes you to actress to tell her the news since he’s scared that she’ll throw a fit you go and tell her the news and she does have a fit threatens you to death and stomps away 2 the producer he tells you your brave because you broke the news to the actress and says he will help you 3 the actress wants revenge because you stole her part in the movie 4 the #4 is too. hard im not gonna do it

1) Basically, a new movie is being filmed, when the producer ends up in hospital after being hit by a car. The script flies away when he is hit. You then have to a) retrieve the script papers, b) advertise the auditions and c) pick the actors/actresses and film it.
2) The producer’s daughter, Madeliene (sp?) Jones was there when her father got hit. She therefore knows the vague directions in which the papers blew. After telling you this, she says that unless she can tag along, she won’t tell you the directions.
3) This actress is absolutely despised by Madeliene Jones, though she had every reason to be ( snobby, rude, drama queen, diva, constantly hogging the spotlight…You know how it is. ). Once she finds out about the soon to be movie of the century that was being written by the oh-so-famous John Jones, she has to star in it. Leading role would be preferred. But because of her unfortunate relationship with Maddie, she would never get the part. And if she doesn’t get it, well, no-one should, isn’t that right? Wrong. To her it is, obviously, but to anyone else, it isn’t acceptable. Not at all.
4) It would start on Bollywood Boulevard, an Indian themed street with bright colours and beautiful women clad in saris. This is the street where John Jones gets knocked over. It would then progress to Hollywood House. This is a big mansion. The papers have floated into Hollywood House and you have 1:30 seconds to find all the sheets in the massive place. This would be one of those mini-games. After, you would discover Cartoon Castle, a street where the amazing animations and cartoons of the years are featured. In Cartoon Castle, it would be a good idea to get some autographs, same with HH. So there will be a shop in CC where you can get cartoons made and you would make an advert for the auditions, which are held in a floor in HH. Later, at the auditions, you would watch three people auditioning for each of the major parts and you have to select one to play each part. Of course, the people are kidnapped *dun dun dun* and you have to pick up clues to find them. When you finally locate them, you start filming and leave it for the night ( you film on Stars Street. Again, get autographs. ) . Unfortunately, the next morning, the camera is gone! You then realise there are some shady charcters appearing in every street and room of HH. This is where the autographs come in. You pay each person in autographs for information, and then you finally locate the villain. She is locked up for theft. You finish filming, the film gets big, and you have your name under Director!
Bonus Question) Easy Peasy.
” My name is Lara Louella Loretta Lorenza Lottie Lillian Luck! and I am the actress of the century! “
when you arrive you see the director and the agent fighting about how useless the lead actor is. you cut in and ask questions and they ask u whether you will like to act in the movie. you say yes so the lead director becomes an extra. she goes into a fit and plots revenge. she then sabotages the whole movie(destroys the props, tries to show herself and get the director to rehire her,etc). becos of that, she is fired completely. she then starts throwing stuff and chasing u. this turns into a mini game where you hav to run and avoid the things she is throwing at u. in the end u lead her into a trap so the police come for her. u get ur medallion.
I think the jealous actor(ess) should be a talking stunt dog named Skippy.

I really think the super villains and heroes teaming up with each other just to help us poptropicans! ( I’m surprised that they get in to a fight!) Especially FUNNEH BUNNEH! Lol I cracked up on that part!

As for everyone else, you all had FASCINATING ideas, it took me days just to figure out who was the best….. I have to admit I sorta threw mine together, it took me some time to plan it though…..

At the beginning must be a compitition on a place named “ON TV “.where everybody gets their roles with their behavior. But the main actor’s name would be metal head, a strong man. But somebody gets the role for a slave and gets jealous. So he or she stops you. But You must be in the movie by fighting against her. But she is stronger. When the director sees her fighting so hard they will choose her as the villain. As for places – movie plaza, open garden, a warehouse to collect items for the movie, a desert, the hanging place for the villain(the rope can be found in the warehouse, the police pop station and things good for a movie. The items – the rope, wine, guns, posters etc. I hope you liked my idea.

The Name of the actress is Sierra Tantress and she tries to stop you because you got the role and she is to jealous loco
I think the villain’s name should be Viola Elisenbon.
Maybe we could be something like – mistaken as the lead actor/actress for the movie, and then the REAL lead was kidnapped by a beautiful, experienced and talented but materialistic and heartless actress who was really angry at her for not only stealing the role but also her, say, boyfriend.

it’s always awesome when a new island comes out. Name of villain. It should be something like a few actor’s real name’s. Like lizie allen or jack smith, john abraham or something. Thanks
1: The player should be an actor shooting a movie. Once out of the blimp, you get to audition for the staring role in a movie (you choose what genre). It’d be much like Pokemon B2/W2’s Pokestar studios.
2: After auditioning, you get a personal assistant, costume/makeup designers and the enthusiastic director. The assistant and director keep you going and praise your work, and the designers let you customize almost any costume for the genre (you can chose to keep your pre-existing costume on).
3: At the audition, the actor/actress is also auditioning (but a little over their head and/or bratty). Maybe they will have an awful audition as a defining character moment. After losing the role, they feel they deserved it more and go after the main character (much like Batman’s Clayface).
4: The will be various locations based on previous islands, like a spooky cryptids islands-like woods (for the horror genre), Game-show island like Japanese city (monster movie) or the pewter moon (for sci-fi). And immediate obstacles is (like speedy dolphin’s idea) sabotage the set and hire real versions of the actors (like real robots, aliens and ninjas). Also, the older Poptropica villains themselves will play the antagonists. They aren’t actually trying to take over the world or anything, but they have far too much fun with their roles and are exceptionally hammy (a theatrical term for an actor with no indoor voice, acts with extreme drama and punctuates/emphasizes EVERYTHING, also known as “chewing the scenery”). The actor would eventually take it too far in the climax of the movie and need to be stopped, before the entire movie’s ruined. (The director happily records everything). You then can see the end result of everything in the theater. Luckily, if the movie’s bad, the “villains'” hammy roles make the movie successful and funny anyway, (known as a “Ham and cheese” film) but they win the metal. You can always try again, even after “winning,” much like Reality TV Island.
Personally I think there should be a ticked off person(actress named Lucile LaFluer) and she’s a sassy French model who suddenly wants to be in a movie and you happen to be trying out for an extra. the director(Bob directo) hates Lucile and wants someone else to be the lead, then you just happen to be the person he points to… so Lucile stomps out of the room. (there should be at least 1 set for each island- therefore the movie should be called adventures in poptropica!) so she “goes back to France” the French movie set! but then the extras start to disappear. then Bob shows you your trailer and you think you see a shadow… so thankfully you make it through another night But, all the extras are gone!!!+Lucile never went home(hmmm??.. go figure) (put it on a newspaper) so bob starts saying he’s cancelling the movie you object. and he say if you find the extra’s and the crew(which happens to disappear while he says it) then he’s not cancelling the movie! so you go to bob’s trailer and the door is locked time to find a key! Or…sneaking in!(it’s a movie set, what do you expect?)so you click on the window and you use a crowbar or something to open it. But, you here moaning…well you’re not scared! And….It’s Lucile, the crew and the extra’s. Hmmm….. well, all but one extra is missing! who is it? it’s the little(like 11 year old named Hannah) extra. just as you start to suspect.. the door opens and some one throws the director in all tied up!! then you here a lock click. oh no! but wait the window!! you go out and the extra’s follow you(mini army!) you follow a shadow. who’s is the actress’ mom!! then you turn around and Lucile is dangling Hannah from a pole at the shark!!! you jump up and kick Lucile off and Hannah falls into a foam pit(which are very comfy) huzzah! you win and Hannah gives you something she found in the foam pit!!!

1. The player found a job as a celebrity’s personal guard of a famous actress. The player jumps out of the blimp and sees an ad looking for a personal guard and the player takes it.
2. The actress (I chose the name Melody Starr for her), the guards of the city or town, a certain fan of the actress, and an optional one, your own guard dog who follows you around everywhere but can be very helpful finding the villain’s trail.
3. The villain is trying to stop the player because the villain was fired from the movie she desperately wants to star in. Melody Starr took the part after the villain was fired and the villain seeks revenge towards Melody and is trying to destroy her. That’s why the villain is trying to stop the player because the player is disrupting the villain’s plan.
4. The areas are: The Movie Set, Main Street (where the job ad is), the Police Station, Melody Starr’s Dressing room, The Cinema, The Subway, The Lair, A Store, A Movie Company
5. Character Names: The actress the player is working for is Melody Starr, the villain is Ursula Moon, the fan is Juniper Sun, and the dog is Sniffer.
6. The Plot: The player jumps out of the blimp and clicks the personal guard for hire ad. The player will then get a piece of paper with a phone number on it. The player will then enter the store and call the number. A person answers the phone and arranges an interview with you. The player then goes to the movie company where he/she meets Melody Starr. You answer a few questions but you will still pass anyway. Your first job is to accompany Melody to the movie set. At the movie set, you guard Melody’s dressing room door while she’s inside. Suddenly, she screams and you bust inside. You see her dressing room is a mess, chairs were flipped, dresses were scratched and make up was everywhere. You then look for clues. Suddenly, a dog runs inside and sniffs at a wallet. You open it and see Ursula Moon’s ID card. Her address is 123 Poptropica Hills, a neighborhood where the famous live. You go to the lot but you bring the dog with you. You see the house and enter inside. Suddenly, the lights turn off and it turns on a again. You see yourself trapped in a cage lifted by a rope. Ursula Moon walks in and laughs at you. “Such a pathetic person. You’ll never stop me from pursuing my dream!” she says then walks out. You struggle trying to get out of the cage but your dog helps you. He sniffs out a lever and pushes it, releasing you. “Good job, Sniffer.” you say to the dog. You run out of the house and notice a note on the lawn. It reads, “To-Do List: Distract guard then go to subway. Audition at cinema.”
You realize Ursula is trying to take away Melody’s role. You dash to the subway and go to the cinema. You then go inside and see Ursula finish her audition. She notices you and runs away. You follow her and enter an elevator. You arrive in Ursula’s lair. She’s standing next to Melody. Melody is tied to a chair and cannot speak. “Take one more step and you won’t see your boss again!” Ursula shouts. Luckily, Sniffer jumps in and bites Ursula’s leg. She trips and you quickly untie Melody and you two dash out of the room while Sniffer follows. Melody thanks you and you call the police. They arrive just in time with Ursula in handcuffs. “Ursula Moon desperately wants that role. You were smart enough to find her.” The police said. Then, Sniffer barks. “Oh, and Sniffer, too!”
You then go to the police station and Melody is inside next to Ursula’s jail cell. “Thank you so much. To express my gratitude I give you this medallion.” says Melody. Then you have finished the island! Congratulations!

1. your character (he/she) jumps out of the blimp and walks toward the theater making a movie about a spy girl and her two best friends and a man in a directors out fit says “There you are i have been looking for you every where!” you say “Bu-” “No time for chit chat go to your trailer” “Bu-” “GO!” (you have just been mistaken for the main character of the movie you look just like he/she) so your character walks automatically to the trailer with a big star on it. And you get a glace of a poster of a boy or girl that looks just like you!
2.You go to the set and there is a person in the back saying “Hey kid come over here” so while the director is talking to the sound men he/she goes over there and it’s a lady, she says ” so your the kid who got my part in the the movie” you say ”i am sorry i took your part.” lady says “humph” you say” what did you mean your part?”the lady says ” i am Annie Oakley i was kicked off the movie as the main character for being to snooty.” and two body guards notice that you are talking to the old actress and they say ”what are you doing here Oakley” she says ”oh nothing” and they carry her away and she says ” i will get my revenge and sabotage this movie if it’s the last thing i do!”
3.on the movie set Annie got back in there and drops sand bags messes up the sound system knocks things over tears up the dresses and outfits and your the only one to stop her along with your two best friends! you have to dodge sand bags push people out of the way of the falling sand bags, fix each of the sound boxes and equipment, put things back up in there places and jump on her so she doesn’t tear the outfits too much! With the help of your two stunt girls or guys!
4. In the end you finally catch her and she gets in big trouble.

Maybe a bankrupt movie company needs an actor/actress, and you decide to take on the job! But the Manager has an Archrival who’s claiming the Manager’s Trailers as their own! So, you decide to take on the Archrival to overthrow them, disguising as a brand new Actor/Actress in Showbiz, looking for a job! You end up sneaking around set and finding the clues, since the Archrival prefers to speak in Darkness, and you finally find out who it is! Then, You end up luring them into a trap, and the Police arrest the Archrival. One of the other Actors/Actresses working for the Archrival found a medallion on the set and decides to give it to you for the island medallion.
