The Hobbit

Hi there everyone. I know I’ve been away for a while, but I hope to do some catch up on the walkthroughs and post regularly again very soon.

I went to see the final installment of The Hobbit last night. I really loved all the Lord of the Rings movies and although I don’t think the Hobbit movies were nearly as good, my friends wanted to go to opening night so we saw the IMAX 3D version. Overall it was an ok movie. Of course the special effects and all the battle scenes were incredible (if you’re into that kind of stuff) but the story meandered a lot and was way different than the book. I think Peter Jackson could have taken all three episodes of The Hobbit and combined them into one movie. Kind of stick to what J.R.R. Tolkien did and leave it in one book. But three movies makes a lot more money than just one.
