Speeding Spike is one of the 6 Villains that you will encounter on Super Power Island. He was arrested and jailed in Super Power Island because of stealing fast cars. When a radioactive meteor struck the jail, he escaped and gained super speed power. You cannot outrun him, his really fast, but you no need to worry, because catching him is not the problem he’ll be the one who will chase on you and if he hits you with the bag of money that he stole, you’ll get hurt. All you need to do is to dodge him every time he try to hit you. Once he starts, he can’t stop – so can you?

It has been said that Speeding Spike is a poptropica creator too, he was seen in multiplayer rooms, but he hasn’t been revealed on the poptropica official blog.

How to beat Speeding Spike?

Speeding Spike is located in the train at the subway area of Super Power Island. Walk to the subway station and talk to the police officers, they will tell you that they need help in catching Speeding Spike. Enter to the train and run to the right, you will find Speeding Spike holding a bag of money. He will try to catch you and hit you with the bag of money. Keep jumping over him, you do not need to do anything, just try to keep him at your sight and he’ll come over you. Be careful not to get too far away from him, or he will go back to his previous spot and start again. If you can keep getting him to miss you, he will get so tired and sits down on the floor. When he got tired, click on him and he will be automatically being arrested and back to jail. Check on your Super Hero ID again and you’ll see another sticker in your villains defeated section.
