There’s another advertisement mission in Poptropica. If your character is between ages 6 and 11, you’ll see it on Main Street on most of the islands. In this mission, you need to help Santa Paws find 5 sled dogs to help him pull his sleigh on Christmas Eve. You only have 60 seconds to find all of the dogs so you need to be pretty quick.
One dog is right near the exit to the right. Two are outside in the snow and two of them are inside the workshop on the platforms up above. Once you find all five dogs, go to the big red sleigh up on the platforms in the workshop. It’s right above where you meet with Santa Paws the dog and just down and to the right of the last dog inside the workshop. I have a video walkthrough up on YouTube that shows you how to do the whole thing.
When you finish this mission you get two prizes. One is an elf costume and the other is a Present Burst item that shoots out a bunch of gift boxes around you.

There’s another new advertising mission in Poptropica that promotes the new movie, Cloudy with a Chance of Meatballs. To see this one, your Poptropica account age must be between 6 and 12 years old. You set the account age when you first created your account, so if you chose something older than 12 years old, you need to make a new account to play this mission. I guess they don’t want people older than 12 years old to see the movie. LOL. You can find the mission on Main Street in some of the islands. Try Time Tangled Island first. That’s where I saw it.
This is a pretty good mission. It’s short and easy to do but a lot more fun than the Bedknobs and Broomsticks mission that’s also running right now. First go inside and talk to the inventor guy in a lab coat. He’ll tell you to take a helicopter and find his on/off switch. You only have 60 seconds to get it back to him. Along the way, you’ll need to dodge falling meatballs from the sky.
The on/off switch is in the upper left corner of the town. To get up there, you need to stand on top of the giant ice cream sundae (I stood right on top of the cherry) and then do a big jump up and to the left. You’ll land on the rooftop and then you can grab the on/off switch. Then run back and you’ll sail back across the ocean (what happened to the helicopter?) and you need to avoid falling food. When you get back, talk to the lab coat guy again and you’ll get your rewards.

There are two prizes. One is a lab coat costume just like the guy you talk to has on. The other is really cool. It’s a Meatball storm. Whenever you use it, a small cloud appears over your head and dumps meatballs on you!
