Poptropica Cheats and Secrets Cheats, Walkthroughs and Secrets for Poptropica
The Poptropica Creators have started updating the official Poptropica blog with a bunch of secrets and cheats in the game. Hey, wait a minute…that’s my job! Most of these tips and tricks have been around for a while and are probably already very well known to readers here at PoptropicaSecrets.com.
They’ve been posting every day this week with a new tip. On Monday, they talked about hidden clickable items like the crab in Time-Tangled and the cockroaches in Reality TV Island. On Tuesday, they posted about the cell phone codes from Nabooti, which of course most of us have all known about for a while. And yesterday, they revealed one of the keyboard shortcuts — the costume randomizer (CTRL + SHIFT + R) which completely changes your Poptropica character’s look to something totally random.
Even though a lot of these tips and tricks are pretty old (the keyboard shortcuts have been around for a very long time), some newer players might not know about them and it’s great to see the Poptropica Creators sharing some “official” secrets. I hope they reveal something truly new soon!
Oh and here are all the cell phone codes and keyboard shortcuts in case you are wondering.
Nabooti Island Cell Phone Codes
- 911 – Police Hat
- 411 – Brain Helmet
- 1225 – Santa / Elf suit
- 1337 – Nerd Disguise
Poptropica Keyboard Shortcuts
Note: Mac users should use the COMMAND key instead of CTRL. However some of these keyboard shortcuts may not work on a Mac because they conflict with built-in system functions like taking a screenshot, etc.
- CTRL + SHIFT + R – Randomize your look
- CTRL + SHIFT + S – Change your skin color
- CTRL + SHIFT + H – Change your hair color
- CTRL + SHIFT + P – You get a pumpkin head
- CTRL + SHIFT + 1 – Laughing emote
- CTRL + SHIFT + 2 – Crying emote
- CTRL + SHIFT + 3 – Angry emote
- CTRL + SHIFT + 4 – Jumping emote

Nice post, PoptropicaSecrets! I also have a glitch. In my glitch, you can stand on rope! Here’s how to do it: First, go on the blimp. Second, climb the rope halfway.
Do any of the emotes. (Number 4 dosen’t work very well). And Wa-la! Your character is standing on rope.

Go to the bistro.
Sit on the table were the bad agents are.
Click one of them (the one that are sitting might not work well)
And there you go you are glitched to the table !
i know how to walk in mid air you go to naboti and then you go to the museum and if you already finished it you walk where the statue use to be and it looks like you are walking on air

# Ctrl + Shift + F4 | A bunch of random words appear in the top left corner of the gamescreen. (Do it again to remove it.)
# F12 | A white bar will appear at the bottom of the gamescreen, and you will be able to type on it. If you can’t get the white bar on, try clicking on the Poptropica screen and pressing the F12 button again. Pressing “Enter†removes any text you have typed, pressing “Backspace†will delete a letter one at a time, and pressing “F12″ again will remove the white bar. This can be useful for making videos where you need to communicate with the viewers at the same time.
1. Travel on the Blimp to 24 Carrot Island.
2. Enter the Carrot King Diner.
3. Go to the “Change Your Hair Color†Section of the Diner. Click on it, which will open up a screen with various colors in containers.
4. Fill the cup with white.
5. As your Poptropican drinks it, press down on Ctrl+Shift+S.
6. Your mouse should become a swirl. Close down the tab.
7. Re-enter your account. Your Poptropican should be holding a cup with black liquid in it!
# Find a rope somewhere on Poptropica (example: the rope leading up to the blimp).
# Climb halfway up the rope (stay somewhere around the middle of the rope).
# Now press crtl+shift+1, 2, 3, or 4. (4 doesn’t really work well)
# Your character should now be standing in midair, near or behind the rope! (Note: If you attempt to move along the rope again, it will return to normal.)

Item SWF Links
From the Ctrl + Shift + F4 cheat, you may find some links to Poptropica SWF files, mostly for item cards. â€SWF†stands for either Shockwave Flash or Small Web Format. However, these webpages only show the lower-right corner of the item card. But if you’d like to see a little more of the item card, Nice Turtle discovered a neat trick for that. Open up the Item Card’s SWF, and click on the â€restore down†button on the very top-right corner of your Internet window. It should look like one small line, and is near the red X button where you click to close the Internet window.
If you’re interested, check it out by typing this into your browser: http://static.poptropica.com/items/item13.swf. This leads to a picture of part of the â€shark fin†item card. If you click on the ‘Put On’ button, it turns into ‘Take Off’ – just as it would in a regular Poptropican’s inventory! There are a lot of them, but here are some you could try. Just type in the same link as the one shown above, but replace the number â€13†with the appropriate ones as listed below.

Did you know? Trying numbers in the 1000′s (1001, 1002, etc) will show the island medallions. Also, numbers in the 2000′s (2009, 2007, etc) will show advertisement item SWFs!

To find the special hypnotic costume go to Early Poptropica and go to Poptropica Towers. Then click on the orange flower on the windowsill of either the brown or green building, I can’t remember.
Okay, Green Sneeze, you can go to http://www.youtube.com and search “poptropica reality tv” and it’ll pull up some walkthroughs on how to beat Reality Tv. Good luck!

I did da 24 carrot glitch from Funny Horse from 2010 and my skin turned orange
1.go to mythology island
2.use the mirror and go to underworld
3.go to the boat and go to the side of the boat
4.and it appears that ur pusing the side of the boat!

I found out something i was customizing an outfit from someone else and iput my mouse to the left where the other person would be and i clicked (u will c it turns to a finger) and i moved myself.If u wanna try it while u costomize ur outfit here r the instructions.

The crying emote (not the one with tears) is more like the scared emote. It was used on Cryptids Island when you got your kite burned, saw a raccoon come out of a barrel with glowing red eyes and saw the Jersey Devil and in Reality TV Island when you stand on the helicopter. Now those things seem pretty scary! D:
There’s also CTRL+Shift+h which equals a different hair color :D.

Sooo some of you have said that the keyboard shortcuts are not working. I think you can’t be in the middle of doing something, like lighting the room in Vampire’s Curse. Try doing it in a common room. 🙂
