There’s a new item in the Poptropica Store this week. It’s the fortune cookie and it works very differently from most items that you usually find in the store. First of all, there are two different ways that you can use it:
- Tell my fortune
- Give a fortune
If you choose the first option, you’ll get a short animation of the fortune cookie opening up and it will reveal your own fortune. Here’s some of the fortunes I’ve received from the cookie.
- You will find lots of chewing gum in your future…under your desk.
- Friendship should never be taken for granted.
- When times are difficult, you will find strength.
- Think of your freckles as a close friend and you will never be alone.
When you choose the second option while you’re inside a multi-verse or multi-player room, you can put the fortune cookie down on the ground. Then after three different people click on it, everyone who clicked gets a fortune. Cool!

Anyway. I’m not excited about school. But it is great to feel fresh in the morning.

Advice for the people starting school.
One: The first day is for first impressions. Be the first person to stand out. Then you will be set forever. Act dorky on the first day your Nerdy. Act cool on the first day cool forever.
Two: It is always important to know when to shut up. Because people here like to solve problems and help when they are supposed to shut up and sit down. That way you won’t be involved and will never get in trouble.
Three: Act mature. But don’t act like you are the boss or the teacher. Be smart about things but don’t act like you know it all.
And those are three simple rules.
Anyway. Just a little advice. Simple easy rules. *sigh*

If you are considering ordering a Poptropica teeshirt from Zazzle DON’T — the colors are very light and not as bright as shown on the website. Also the sizes are not true. Customer service is poor. Do not order from Zazzle!
