There hasn’t been much news in Poptropica since the early access release of Reality TV Island, but now there’s a mysterious post on the Creator’s blog talking about a new micro-quest that will be released soon in the Poptropica Store. Here is what Vlad the Viking has to say on the official blog:
It seems that a certain character is up to his old tricks again. I can’t say I wish that he would stop it, because stopping him will be so much fun! Keep ever watchful, because this new micro-quest will be coming soon to the Poptropica store!
As you can tell from the picture, this definitely has something to do with Dr. Hare, the evil bunny villain from 24 Carrot Island. When that quest finished up, Dr. Hare was launched into space in his rocket, which was (we thought) destroyed. But Dr. Hare is alive and planning something sinister. I hope everyone will be able to play this new micro-quest with credits or for free instead of having to be a paid member but who knows?

You might notice that on Reality TV Island, the Poptropica Post did an article on Dr. Hare. It was titled “Dr. Hare: Is he Still in Space?”

It also tells me that the Micro Quest may be a small island, not huge like the other ones. Dr. Hare must of fallen on the island and either named it after himself, or just built another Rabbot. Plus, I bet he is some sort of cyborg now because the rest of his body might of just been destroyed from the landing. It would be cool to see the return of the villains such as ex-Director D. and the Binary Bard. There would be something new about them, and if you went to the place where the villain is, you would see that the Binary Bard escaped the Asteroid or the Black Widow escaped jail. You would get a call from the Princess saying Binary Bard escaped or The police saying The Black Widow escaped et cetera.

I think it’s going to be released in April around Easter Time. It makes a lot of sense because of Dr. Hare, the mad scientist dressed up as a bunny. He definently relates to Easter.

Marima: The next island is beleived to be Mythology Island. No one really knows that much about it except from what they can imply from screenshots of it in the Poptropica Creators Blog.

I heard a rumor about a bunch of islands being released soon! The islands are:
French island
Mythology island
Structure island
Virtual island
Militia island
The guy who told me said that the islands might be released between 2010-2011!
I’m not a member when are those islands gonna be realeased to non-members?
I think the micro-quest is gonna be kinda like the haunted house but a bit bigger and have dr.hare in it.

It’s getting harder and harder to find a good name for your character if you’re making a new character. When I came across Wild Tiger about a year and a half ago, I hit the jackpot.
