Fortnite Buccaneer’s Bounty Challenges

There’s a limited time series of challenges running right now in Fortnite called Buccaneer’s Bounty. There are four separate challenges to complete, and each provides its own reward. If you complete all of them, you can earn a special reward item — an emote called Boobytrapped.

The Buccaneer’s Bounty Challenges

Here are the four different challenges you’ll need to complete while the event is running. The event ends on April 16.

Visit a Pirate Camp in different matches

You’ll need to visit a Pirate Camp in 10 different matches to complete this challenge. There are several different camps located all over the island, and you don’t need to visit ten different ones, just visit at least one in 10 different matches. When you complete this challenge, you’ll search the Plunder glider as a reward.

Search Buried Treasure

Find a treasure map in a chest and then follow it to locate and open a buried treasure chest. When you complete this challenge, you get the Pirate Parrot spray as your reward.

Place Top 10 in Squads with a friend

You’ll need to complete these three times to finish the challenge. So team up with friends and compete in the squad mode. Place in the top 10 squads three times, and you’ll earn a special compass-themed banner.

Shoot yourself out of a Pirate Cannon in different matches

This is best done in conjunction with the visit a Pirate Camp challenge above. Load yourself into one of the cannons you find at the camp and then launch yourself for a thrilling ride through the air. Do this five times in different matches to complete the challenge and earn 1,000 XP as your reward.
