It didn’t happen until later in the day, but Cryptids Island launched for paid members on Poptropica today. It’s a fun island where you have to find four different cryptids, or mysterious legendary beasts. There are lots of different places to visit and all kinds of mysteries to solve. I just finished it and got the island medallion and will post the full walkthrough very soon.
I thought the ending was kind of lame. There wasn’t really a boss fight like there has been in most of the islands lately. There is a final confrontation with the villain in the game but it’s very easy to solve.
Getting evidence on some of the cryptids can be tricky. I had a little trouble with Nessie because of all the dart games you have to play. And the whole part with finding the Yeti in the Himalayas is kind of frustrating. Harold Mews told me to go back there so I did, but then it turns out there’s no Yeti to find there at all! That was weird.

Where do you find the thing to lure the chupacabra? i think it was the chicken with the alarm but its not letting me get it :/

The walkthrough would be highly appreciated…I’m so pathetic, I’m not even off the first island, you know, the one Mews lives on. All I have is a flyer and a sports drink…. sigh.

heres how to capture the jersey devil: make sure you have the right stuff and make sure you have the lamp from the himilayas and the match from a place where i forgot keep going to bottom right until you see a river with boundaries and a big circle over it and stop at the circle and light up the lamp and go inside and go to second floor to hear thumping push the furniture to the attic entrance and hop up and walk over to the barrel and all that comes out is a raccon but go down to the first floor but beware children the jersey devil will be there looking like a flying zombie with wings and make sure you have the grappling hook from the attic and use it below the tree and grab the eggs go back to motercycle and press go back to start to go back to start go to the mews foundation and do the dna test and tada you have proof of the jersey devil!
If any of you players who are, apparently, already onto the Jersey Devil could help me, that would be awesome! I am still on the first island (the one Mews’ mansion is), and hopelessly stuck.

My father’s great grandpa was at New Jersey, taking pictures of the landscape and forest when in one of his pictures there was a image of a strange goat or something with strange legs and wings in a tree. My grandpa gave it to me before he pasted away a month later. It’s real. I have the picture.

What time was Cryptids released? I started at about 6 pm and ended at 8 pm. The chupacabra made me jump and the Jersey Devil just looked WRONG

Yeti,Bigfoot,Abominable Snowman and Sasquatch are all the same but while I was playing Scribblenauts on my DS I typed Yeti then Bigfoot. Which was really weird because the Yeti was white and Bigfoot was Brown even though their the same.
