Shrink Shot
Shrink Shot is a mini-game in Poptropica that was released as part of the sneak peek for Shrink Ray Island. In this game, you shoot yourself out of a cannon and try to hit as many objects in the room as possible. The more objects you hit, the more points you get. Paid members can earn special items along the way that enhance their performance as they play, leading to even higher scores.
How to Play
The game is very easy to play. Simply visit Shrink Shot Island during the sneak peek and the instructions will appear. You only need to aim your cannon and then lock it in place with a mouse click. That will start the power meter. Click your mouse again when it hits the power level you want and then you’ll shoot out of the cannon and bounce around the room. Every point bubble you hit in the room will give you more score. Bubbles with arrows on them will change your direction, and a variety of other items in the room, such as the toy car or airplane, will move you around if you hit them. The game is over when you lose momentum and stop moving. The more power ups you earn (see below), the longer you will stay in motion and the more points you’ll get.

The following items are earned by getting higher scores in Shrink Shot. In turn, these items help you last longer in the game and earn even higher scores.

Sparklies in Poptropica!
Sparkle Power
There’s also an additional item for members to get after they’ve earned all the power-ups. It’s the Sparkle Power. To get it, you need to already have earned the spiked bounce ball power-up. If you then hit the snow globe that is sitting on one of the shelves, you’ll get the Sparkle Power card, which can be used in any of the Poptropica islands to give you sparklies!
