At one point, I thought that when defeating Skullduggery Island and 'finding the treasure' we would actually get credits! :O

I wish they would give out 75 credits for an island again....

75 CREDITS ?? WHEN I FIRST JOINED THERE WERE NO SUCH THING AND THEY GAVE OUT 100 !! And those days there were only 6 islands... ah, the good old days

*sigh* I remember when I first joined Poptropica,there was no membership,no shop, not even customizing(although that came out about a year after),and no credits. There were only a few islands. When I first joined,Monster Carnival was the island marked as coming soon on the map but we never got it and we had 24 Carrots Island instead. I miss those days,the islands weren't as fun or anything but that was okay for me. When I first started,I was in near the end of year 3(I'm now in year 8). I remember in year 4,our class,the entire class was mad about Poptropica. When we had computer time,we'd all go on to see who had finished an island and we helped the ones who hadn't finished. We even had competitions to see who could finish an island first. I was usually placed number 5 or 6 because back then the islands weren't so complicated. Now, almost the entire class has quit Poptropica due to being in a new grade and getting more homework and not enough time. Good times I'll never forget.

IKR I remember there was a poll on poptropicasecrets.com about whether people wanted membership or not. I was like "NONONONONONONONONONONONONO." And before that were the credits. I knew it was 6 because 1 island = 100 credits and then as soon as credits were out I immediately got credits. And those days you can buy an early pass to an island using credits.

Yeah. There weren't as many things in the shop either and they weren't all too expensive. When credits came out I instantly got about 600 credits and I was able to buy a lot of stuff,mostly for 75 credits. Now, the cool stuff(excluding the outfits) are all over 200 credits. I mean, now they only give out 50 credits. That means you'd have to complete 4 islands to buy something you want. If you wanted to get an outfit and you had no credits you'd have to complete 2 islands to buy it. They should at least let you earn credits another way as well,like the games or finding bags of credits or something.
