HtH #1: The Meeting & Missing Carrots

Part 1: The Meeting
In a hidden remote island of Poptropica, there’s a headquarters that keeps track of all of the island's activity. It’s created by the greatest team of scientists and trackers. They know when trouble strikes and when a new island appears…

The Professor is the one of greatest scientists in Poptropica. He creates new tools for science and takes care of everything that goes on in the headquarters. My name is Tammy and I work with the Professor.

“Tammy, please get the blimps ready.”

“The blimps?! Why?!”

“It’s time to pick up some heros. Our crew here at headquarters is small and we can’t always go to save an island every time there’s trouble. I guess we’ll leave it to the professionals.”

I knew the Professor was crazy but this?! It was absolutely insane! I could not believe it.

“Tammy, please go and get the hero profiles uploaded.”

“Yes.” Slowly, 16 different Poptropican faces appeared on the screen. “They are uploaded.”

“Okay, send out this letter to those Poptropicans along with the blimp. Then bring them here to headquarters.”

“All 16 of them?”

“We need all the help we can get.”

All we can get? Well, I guess it wouldn’t hurt to send out 2 more…

Part 2: Missing Carrots
Alright! We are finally starting Heros to Heros! So everyone that signed up, meet up at “headquarters.” (As said in the note.) I’ll give the details later.

After that, we’ll start Roleplaying. Our first island we are going to travel to is 24 Carrot! (Yes, it was kinda obvious.) We are basically going to do a fan-roleplay. We’ll follow the island’s story plot and everything but with our own twist. It would probably best to re-do the island (or watch cheats from Poptropica Secrets Blog) to refresh your memory but if you can’t, I have the main layout listed below (not everything is listed. Just the main ones.) I am asking all Heros to participate in this one. If you can't, please let me know. In the future, you may choose if you want to participate or not.

Now, I’m allowing extra characters that EVERYONE can use since, we can’t just go to an island as just heros. Anyone can use these roles any time at all.

When roleplaying, you can do it any way you’d like as long as people can understand. Please make sure you try and make it easy to follow!

Characters of 24 Carrot
Mayor: This is the first person we are going to talk to when we arrive at the island and at the end of the island. You can include him other times though.
Tony, Diner Cook/Owner: Can go in and ask about missing kids or other
Carrot King Diner Waitress: go into Diner and get milk for cat or other
Missing Poptropicans: Shy Sky (found in printer room), Sleepy Bird (found in processing room), Magic Socks (found in processing room), Crazy Comet (found in rabbot room)
Farmer: To ask about carrots
Charlie: Ask about supplies and cat
Wiskers: the cat you need to find for Charlie
Dr. Hare: (I don’t need explain, right?)

(Hey, so when we're doing this, how about my character makes the teleporter? You know, to add the twist?)
Finally! A way out of here!
I saw through my ceiling and grab a jet pack, along with a few odds and ends. I am OUT of this crowd.

I find my blimp and cut loose. As I do, I realize something. Heroes. More than one. I hope it won't be too many...

I don't even know where I'm goong. Suddenly, my balloon swerves north. Good bye, Steamworks. I pick up speed, and I realize the balloon must have some sort of computer in it. I take a toy cat out of my pocket and play with it. Since I built it, it respondes back. But I don't have much time left to play: I see an island, a very small one, and the balloon stops.

Right now, I'm in this weird flying object, a blimp, I think. I'm goin' somewhere I don't even know. All I know is that a strange letter came for me this mornin'. Somethin' about going to somewhere to meet some people. I'll be leaving the Wild West but, it's been quite. I guess they can manage without me.

As for my horse Dusty, he'll know that I'll be leaving for a couple of days. It was hard leaving everyone but... I'll just have to. If it means an adventure, I will do it!

Where ever it is, it would probably be something important. *Looks at letter again* Professor and Tammy, huh? Hero...

I climb up to my blimp, and it starts to soar. I think about the letter that was from someone called, "the Professer". It also mentions someone named Tammy. I try to imagine what an HQ looks like. What does it stand for, anyway? I've never been out of my island before, so of course, I have a bunch of questions bouncing around my head. This must be important. At least Athena will be there, too, hopefully. We're gonna meet other heros from other islands, and I wonder what they'll be like.

I feel bad that I didn't leave a note for my parents. The note did say to not speak of this to anyone. I read the note again, and sigh. What is 24 Carrot island? I'm guessing it's in trouble. I read the note one last time before we land. "P.S This note was not sent to you by accidient." Huh. It's been a while since I've saved a whole island. I hope I can do it again...

dear hero...wow im famous! i skim through the letter...what the heck is an HQ? bla bla.. i chuckle to myself at the last note. i jump to the blimp with a flip and scream 'ONWARDS AND UPWARDS!'' and cut the rope and soar to a new adventure!

I read the letter over and over again. They want me! But do I want to go. I know I should but. I've never been away from home before. What will I have to do? I read the letter over again. Trouble on other islands... You know what I'll do it! I need a break from reality! I walk over to the blimp and I set off on my adventure....

As I finish the letter I run outside my house to see a yellow blimp waiting for me. I jump on the rope and climb up slowly. Mum would be happy I'm leaving here...or would she? I mean I'm might be leaving one dangerous island but won't I be seeing more? Oh well. I don't bother to tell her. She'll call me if worried. Plus she knows I love adventures she'll understand. I wonder if I'll see other plants and animals I wouldn't see on this little island of Twisted Thicket. I scan the island once more. My mind feels with memories and great times. Then my stomach rumbles. Great(!) I jump down from the blimp and run to the burger shop. Marco, the shop owner, gives me 3 burgers for free. It would usually be one but I told him I may be gone a long time so he gave me two more just in case. "Bye Marco! Keep up the good work!" I shout as I leave the shop. While running back to the blimp I hear Marco's voice faintly say "You too." I climb on the blimp again and get ready to go. Tears fall from my eyes and roll down my cheeks as I see my home island get smaller and smaller. "Bye, Twisted Thicket. Bye, Mum. Bye, Marco." I whisper ready for what the future holds.

I'm watching the sumo match of the year as i open the letter. I've been chosen!? HQ!? I dont know if I should go... the people need me. Who else could have stopped the shogun? But as I think it over I realize that these arent the only people who are counting on me. I have a job to do. I accept this quest! *gos to treehouse* *finds book of 24 carrot island* I wish I could go there. *the outside scenery blurs around me*

I'm just sitting there, on the couch....Its nearing early evening.
I just stare at the newspaper in front of me.

That's when I'm starltled by the doorbell.

RING!

Wow...who could be at the door at THIS hour? I wonder.

But when I DO manage to open the door (my parents are already asleep), I don't come to face to face with a person, rather.....nothing. Nothing but air.

I think its quite peculair of a stunt, when I look down, and with sudden surprise, see a letter there.

Its in a thick expensive manilla envelope, addressed to....me!

I excitedly pick it up off the floor, and hurry back inside.
For a second, I wonder who dropped it there. The mailman? No, its Sunday.
I push the thought aside for the moment as I tear open the envelope and take out a small, square piece of paper. A letter.

I read the writing.
Suddenly, I'm a blur of emotions. What does this mean? Wow, the islands of Poptropica...need my help once again.

I must say goodbye to my home here in Counterfeit, once again, and venture out to save Poptropica.
I decide to make haste. I quickly take what I need with me, including the letter, then grab some paper and pencil. I start to write.

Dear Mum and Dad,
I have been called to help save Poptropica. I don't know when exactly I'll be seeing you again, but I promise it will be soon, and I will take care of myself. I love you, and just remember I am doing this to keep Poptropica safe. I'm happy, this is where my heart is. I hope you understand.

Love ya, Ill be back as soon as I can. Take care.

I'm feeling a bit sad writing it, but I know its for the greater good. Poptropica needs my help! My parents know.

With a sigh, I leave the letter on the refrigerator, and head out the door. I reach the blimp, right next to the city museum, and I'm on my way, through the clouds and sky, to meet my fate, my new adventure.
